Once In A Lifetime

I'm sitting here amazed at what I just heard. I've started recording my live shows again and I'm astounded at what I'm hearing. I recorded 3 shows over the past 5 days and last Friday's show at Stella Maris Pangborn unit is outstanding. It was not the best crowd I've ever had and I guess that's why I was trying even harder than I usually do, but the show is incredible. It will be my next CD. I just have to add some applause. The sound quality is great. I can't wait to burn it.

I've been listening to Wayne Newton and his current show, "Once Before I Go" and it is a multi media show. But, as I've been hearing for years, his voice is shot. I do feel sorry for him because despite years of drinking and shouting my brains out in clubs, my voice is still in tact and very controlable. And believe me, I thank God for that each and every day. I honestly don't know what I'd do if I couldn't perform. And as strange as this may sound, the smallest nursing home room is always like Caesar's Palace to me. A live audience is a live audience, there is no difference. And I treat it very seriously everytime I walk out there. I thank God every day for being able to work at a job I love. All praise to You!
