Things Are Better

Well I'm far from cured, but, on the whole, things are a lot better than my last post. I didn't get on that exercise program so I stayed in a funk for awhile. A couple of months ago, I decided to get what Zig Ziglar calls a checkup from the neck up. I decided to change my attitude and employ all of the positive thinking and uplifting things I've trained myself to do over the years. The results are amazing.

First, I did something physical. While on a trip to Ocean City over the Christmas holidays, I saw an infomercial for Good Feet. I had used the once before with good results. I went there the next day and spent over $300.00 for a pair of great orthotics. Before I got these, I was barely walking. I had to rest every few feet. Today, I'm not only walking, but bouncing around all over the place with a lot less pain. And I'm still heavy.

Next, I just applied all the Tony Robbins, John Tesh, Yanni, Jimmy Buffett, and anyone else I could think of to kick my attitude up into high gear. The result is, today, I'm feeling great. I'm looking forward to shows, and I'm getting the best reviews I've ever gotten in my life. And the pecker is even starting to get up off the sofa.

Once again, it's great to be alive, it's great to be able to do the things I love, and it's great to be able to look forward to life again.
